$200,000 - $225,000 Benefits including:
PTO, sick time, holiday pay,medical, dental, and vision insurance, education or tuition assistance, 401k,short- and long-term disability, and an EAP program.Requirements:
Maryland licensed physician with an active DEA license andCDS registration. Minimum of two (2) years of primary care experiencepreferred, especially in a community health center setting. 3
years of Electronic Medical Records experience. Problem-solving skills and ability to handle diversesituations. Demonstrated work record with good attendance,punctuality, and collaboration skills. Compassion for patients and sensitivity to diverse issuesaffecting well-being. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communicationwith staff, patients, and the community.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to physician effectiveness by addressingpatient care issues and implementing CMO directives. Assess patient health through interviews, examinations,and test result interpretation. Recommend diagnostic or therapeutic interventionsconsidering safety, cost, and efficacy. Document patient encounters accurately in the computerizedsystem. Perform therapeutic procedures, instruct and counselpatients on regimens and wellness. Provide continuity of care by developing patientmanagement plans. Engage in quality care/incentive programs, maintain a safeworking environment, and comply with legal and professional requirements. Follow established clinical policies, stay informedthrough workshops and publications, and participate in peer review processes. Promote clinic services through outreach and explore grantopportunities. Assist CMO in pursuing funding opportunities and attendmeetings. Provide patient-centered customer service, follow HIPAAguidelines, and perform assigned duties as instructed. Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
