Nursing Manager

Bay Community Health (BCH) is seeking to hire a full-time Nursing Manager.
This position has overall responsibility for day to day operations managing the medical support staff in the performance of patient care, while providing excellent patient centered service with close attention to details.
Assist providers by managing patient flow by performing such duties as collecting vitals, medical histories, fulfill prescription refill requests, providing clinical direction to medical support staff and ensuring all information is appropriately documented in patient's electronic medical record Knowledge and performance of administering injections to Adult and Pediatric patients following the recommended CDC schedule and provider orders Knowledge and performance of clinical procedures such as nebulizer treatments, ear irrigations, hearing and vision testing, urine screen, drug screen, glucose testing, spirometry testing, EKG?s etc.
Perform nursing procedures and patient education under supervision of physician, physician assistant, and/or nurse practitioner Assist physician, physician assistant, and/or nurse practitioner in exam rooms Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per protocols Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians and physician assistants Maintain all logs and required checks (ie refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, autoclave etc.
) Improve patient outcomes and deliver quality care within practice areas as assigned.
Ensure all clinical care is delivered in a manner that meets or exceeds goals and expectations for clinical outcomes, quality assurance standards, and patient satisfaction.
Participate in daily huddle with PCMH care team staff to determine patients who are at high risk and/or are in need of PCMH care management Demonstrate competency in practice and knowledge of current standards of practice.
Maintain credentials and perform current nursing practice expectations within established guidelines
Qualifications:
Current Maryland licensure in good standing as a Registered Nurse CPR certification required 3 years? experience in providing clinical care and nursing support within a primary care environment 3 years? experience providing direct patient care services with limited supervision 3 years? experience and proper knowledge and use of medical devices and equipment 3 years? demonstrated experience using tools, technology, and systems typically found within most progressive health care environments (ie personal computer skills, EMR systems, etc.
) at least 1 year previous supervisory, team lead, or trainer experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
